Hi Kimbo how are you doing?? My toe is feeling fine now, I used the insurance card and didn’t have to pay anything so I guess everything is good? idk, Have you gotten anything about it? Yes I got yours and Gmas Packages, thanks so much!! Its always a lot of fun getting a package! I still haven’t burnt a shirt for my year mark, I will probably do it soon though, I have just been super busy and haven’t had any time to do it lately. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun down playing bingo! But you didn’t win? What is up with that?? How are Nae and Ashlyn doing? I haven’t heard from them in a long time. I cant believe that Brock is hanging out with kids that can drive and that he will be going to high school soon, it is freaking me out a little!! What color did you guys paint the basement? Have you talked to Kev about that lot down there next to his? Have they started building yet or anything? That is sad to hear about Sadie, I hope she is okay.. If the day comes I guess it is better than to let her suffer. I Love my little girl! I am glad Sis Cavasos (Mary Ruiz) Has sent some pics. She is such a boss. This last week was really good, I am still waiting on transfers to find out if I will be getting moved or not. Usually we find out on Sunday morning and I still have no idea what will be happening. They are still working on it with president so I will probably find out here within the next few hours. Yesterday we had two baptisms, they are the grand kids of the second counselor of the bishop. It went really well and the kids were super excited to get baptized. We are still teaching Josefina, the little old granny and she is doing good. She may be getting baptized this Saturday in the pool of her daughters so I will send you pics if that happens. There have been a few problems with the sisters in my district so I have spent a lot of time in interviews or on the phone with them while they cry... So I hope everything gets fixed quickly with them. Judy and a bunch of my recent converts came down from Zapata this last week, because a guy that got baptized up there was a guy we worked with for a while and wanted Elder Hinck, (an elder I was in Zapata with) to be the one that baptized him. It was so great to see them again and it was so great to see that guy get baptized. This last week we had the conference all three days, we have meetings from 8 am till 6 pm for three days straight and it is pretty much just training from President Maluenda for all the leaders in the mission. It was super cool, he went into some deep doctrine and it was awesome, I learned sooo much this last week during the meetings and I have learned some pretty crazy things because he gave me some things to study in D&C and I am loving my personal studies in the morning right now! Things are going good here though, and I will let you know if I get moved or not this next week! I love you mommy!!

Hey Mommy!! Happy Valentines day!!  How are you doing? I am glad to hear that the Larsens came over and showed you those videos! It was good to see him and talk to him the other night. He took us out to a super nice seafood place that was super expensive, like my plate was 25 bucks and so was my comps... but the food was amazing! It was good that we did it that night that we did it also because it was the only night that we had when we didnt already have a few dinner appointments. But it is good to hear he came over and showed you guys those! Elder Eisenthut says thanks for sending that to his mom also, he said she probably loved seeing that. That is cool that you have been talking with his mom a little bit also, sounds like they are a really cool family, Elder Eisenhut is awesome and we have been having a lot of fun together. We have already talked a few times about visiting eachother and what not because he will be coming to BYU for school so i will see a lot but we have talked about when i am going to go out to Cali to meet his family also.  This week has been good, i got my ingrown toenail cut out on tuesday or wednesday, i cant remember all the days run together, but it went well, the shot hurt like heck but after that i didnt feel anything. I have had this ingrown toenail for like 2 months now and just never got it fixed but it feels good to finally have it fixed now and not have my foot bug me anymore. Probably should have gotten it down a long time ago because it has bugged me for a long time but its good to finally get that taken care of. I dont have my camera with me so i dont have any pics to send.. i am sorry!! Next week i will send you some! This last thursday i hit my year mark and i cant even believe it.. i feel like i was in the airport leaving not to long ago and that was already over a year ago! I cant believe how fast time is going and i am trying to slow time down but it just keeps going faster and faster i feel like! Well it has really been an uneventful week... Things are going great, i love being over the spanish ward only and not having to deal with anybody that speaks english. We have a lot of members in our area now, we cover a lot bigger area, but we have a lot more members now also! Which of course means a lot more food.. we get fed on average 2 to 3 times a night, and they are little mexican ladies feeding us which means soooo much food! Then after they give us all the left overs so right now our fridge is so full of food that we probably wont ever touch because we never eat at home! The members here are great though and we have like 3-5 people that could be getting baptized this next week which we are really excited for. I will send you pics next week when that happens and give you an update on them. We are teaching this 85 year old grandma of a member right now that is the cutest thing. After our lesson tuesday we were talking with her about what she likes to do, and i asked her if she likes to dance, and she told me no i just like to play Loteria, or lottery which is bingo but that is what they call it in spanish. So we asked her if we could play a game with her before we left and she just lit up and grabbed out her cards and we played us a game of bingo with her! haha She is supposed to get baptized on the 22nd of this month, the only thing is that she is afraid of water and she can barely walk so we are hoping to have the baptism in a pool of a member where it would be easier to just sit her in a chair and tip her back to baptize her. I will keep you updated with her though. Things are going great and i am loving it here! I hope you guys have a great time down in mesquite, send me lots of pictures please!! I love getting pictures and i havent seen many lately! Be safe on the drive! I love you!

Hey Kimbo como estas? Como le va todo alli? Yeah the sisters are keeping be real busy and I am having to do a lot of companionship studies and interviews and what not but things are going good though! That is cool that you are friends with my comp’s parents on facebook now, I talked to them for a few minutes on Christmas and they are super nice. That is cool to hear they were excited about the baptism, because that was his very first one! Elder Eisenhut is great and we get a long really well, I am not sure if we will stay together though this next coming transfer which is in just two weeks so we will see what happens! So MLR is a recent convert here in my area and is amazing so add her for sure and have Tyler translate for you and talk to her she is awesome. They feed us every Friday and they are a great family that got baptized like 5 months ago. That is sad to hear about my little puppy Sadie, I hope she is okay:( That is really cool to hear that Matt Valdez got baptized, I wasn’t sure if he was a member or not. Yeah, here at the church where we serve there is a member that does a zumba class every morning and so a bunch of the members go and do zumba in the morning, but of course it is in Spanish so it is probably a little different;) How do you like it? Don’t hurt yourself while you are there in the mornings;) Yeah I got the hump day box and opened it already, thanks so mucho for sending me that! You know I love me some fritos and bean dip! haha No I cant think of anything I need right now, I might ask for a new set of English scripts for my birthday or something but right now I am fine! Well this last week with the changes that happened and with our area growing so much things have been a little crazy. I have had to help the sisters in my district quite a bit to figure out what they are going to do with the new areas that they have and what not. We have tons of new members here in our new area also which means we get fed a lot more!! On Thursday it was awful. We had 4 meal appointments but they were all between the hours of 4 and 8. That may not sound that bad, but the Mexican people love feeding missionaries so much food!! And if you don’t ask for seconds they get worried you don’t like their food so you have to eat at least two full plates at every house. The last house we ate at of the night we could barely move and we struggled so badly trying to shove the food down our throat. And we felt sooo sick. When the member got up to go into the kitchen my comp hurried and got up and threw his plate in the trash and covered the food so the member couldn’t see it because he couldn’t finish the plate, I just slowly put it down then when we got back to the apartment my comp went into the bathroom and gagged himself with his toothbrush because he felt so sick from all the food we ate! It made us feel sick for like the next two days even though most of the food was pretty good. That will be like an every Thursday thing now because that is when the members always ask to come eat with them.. so we will see what happens with that! Yesterday J, the girl we just baptized, got confirmed and was very excited to get the Holy Ghost. I did the confirmation and that will be the last time I will have to go to the English ward. I am very excited to just work with the Spanish ward because they are so much more humble and actually enjoy having baptisms, unlike the English ward. But I will let you know how things are going there. I hope you have a great week though mommy, I love you!!

 Teaching J in a tent!
 J's baptism
 A drawing from J's niece-the More Men's and J!!

I am doing great, how are you doing Mommy?? I am glad you got my letters, I will try to write you guys again today because we don’t have much to do with some changes that happened here. I am still here in my same place though. Yeah, we were at some member homes last night and they had the Super Bowl on and they updated us of what was going on the whole time because we couldn’t watch it of course.. Sounds like you guys had a good time though! I don’t like that they are going to be putting up houses at the end of the road... I love the idea of having quail in the backyard though and nobody to bug us down there! The Olson’s are on a trip, or what are they doing down there? I feel bad for the baby Sadie.. I hope she gets feeling better!:( Mommy is doing zumba?? Wow! That is super big down here, little Spanish women love it! How do you like it so far? This last week was great, yesterday we had the baptism of J which was super cool. We had a bunch of problems with the English ward here, which is where she got baptized. They want investigators to come to church for months before they get baptized and want all this extra stuff done to make baptisms really difficult to have in their ward. This is also the ward where my mission president goes and he can trump anyone’s decision about whether or not someone can get baptized. So to make a long story short, J had to have 4 interviews before she got baptized when normally it is just one, with a zone leader or district leader. But my comp Elder Eisenhut did his first baptism yesterday which was super cool. I told him one of our first days together that he was going to baptize someone while we were together because I wanted to see him baptize his first person and that is what happened yesterday! Also to make things better, President Maluenda (mission Pres) came to our baptism also! It is the first time I have ever heard of him attending a baptism of a missionary, usually because he is always so crazy busy but him and his whole family came to our baptism and it went really good. I imagine he came because he had a couple interviews with her and got to know her a little but it was cool to have him there. Also during testimony meeting yesterday J got up and bore her testimony which was super cool so it was a really cool day yesterday. Also we had some big changes happen here where I am at. They took out some missionaries and gave us like triple our area to cover now. We will no longer be going to the English ward at all, we are only going to be working with Spanish people which is going to be great. They took out the other district leader in the area and gave me the sisters in his district so I added two more sisters to my district which will be just wonderful! But I am excited to just work with the Spanish ward, they are all converts and all know how missionary work needs to go. This last week was a lot of fun though, and I hope you got my pictures to see a little more of what is going on here! I hope you have a great week though! I love you mommy! Be safe!

Love, Tu oso:)
