Hi Kimbo!!!
What are you up to today? How is my little Sader Tot doing?? That makes me sad to hear that she isn’t doing very good...:( Did you and Dad get my letters I wrote to you?? That is cool to hear you went to the temple last week, I want to go so badly!!! I have learned so much here on the mission and I feel like I would understand everything in the temple so much more now! Meet the Mormons is really good, was that the first time you had seen it or had you seen it before?? Have you gotten most of the those cards sent out? I kept forgetting to send them out so tell them sorry for me since they are like a month late;) that is super cool to hear Bro Lewis is the new Stake Pres!! I had a pretty big feeling that it would be him! He is awesome and will do great, and he will be the one that will be the one that makes me take my tag off:( That is crazy that there was Jason’s wedding the other day.. I feel like I am way to young still to even get close to marriage! How did everything go?? Things here are going pretty good right now, J did not get baptized yesterday because she didn’t pass her baptism interview, she has a few problems with worthiness issues, so she will be having an interview this Friday with the Mission Presidente, President Maluenda and he will decide if she is ok to be baptized this weekend. I am sorry but I left my card reader at home so I don’t have any photos to send of her or her little boy. She is doing really well though, just has to talk to the mission president to make sure she is repentant of a few things. This last week was great, we had Elder Dallin H. Oaks here! Saturday we had a meeting with him and all the missionaries in the mission which was great. He is quite the goofball! haha he is a really funny guy which was kinda surprising because he seems so stern in his talks! But because the mission office is so close to my area and that is where we go to church and do everything, we were actually able to be around him quite a bit! We got to hear him talk in the Stake Conference again on Sunday and we got to talk to him a lot between Friday and today because he was usually around the mission office where we always are and we got to have quite a few personal chats with him:) Other than that we didn’t have a whole lot happen here though this last week, J should hopefully be getting baptized this next week so I will make sure to send you pics of that! Sorry I don’t have much to tell you this week, next weeks will be better I promise! I love you mommy!! Have a great week!!
Love, Tu Oso

Me and the ZLs cookin up breakfast for the zone on Christmas morning:)
Hey Kimbo How are you doing?? How is everything going up there?? What have you guys been up to? That sounds like a fun day going up on the Frontrunner to see Meet the Mormons! Have you and Brockles both already seen it? That sounds like Brock had a great time at the Jazz game, he told me a little about it. That is cool they got to sit so close. There is actually a lady in my area we have been working with that is a less active member but has 3 kids that need to be baptized and she is the niece of Karl Malone!!! She used to follow the Jazz everywhere and she would go with him and go to all of his games. Yes I will write you back soon, I am sorry I have been so bad a writing letters!!!! I feel like I don’t have time on P days but I will try to make some time today to send one out! So I can't give you my number for Mark to call us, he will have to go through the mission office to ask if he can take me to do something, usually that has to go through the mission president. Things here are going good right now, J is supposed to be getting baptized this Sunday but the ward is having a fuss over it because it is stake conference and there are supposed to be tons of people here because an apostle is coming but we could still do the baptism before or after but they don’t want to so we will see what happens with that. She is doing great though, she really likes the church, just wants to keep learning more because she wants to feel really ready to get baptized. So we will continue to work with her this week and hope we dunk her soon!! She is awesome though, and her little boy E is awesome, he grabbed my finger after sacrament meeting and asked if I could take him to class! haha He is a funny little dude! So this Saturday Elder Oaks will be coming down to McAllen!! I am super excited to hear him, we have a meeting with him on Saturday with all the missionaries so it will be fun to see all the missionaries at the same time! Then Sunday in the stake where I am at he will be talking again! And also since I am serving so close to the mission office and that is the chapel we do our meetings in with the district I will probably get to be around him a lot! So I am excited for that this weekend! I will let you know how that goes! Things are going great here though, I hope everything is going good there! I hope you have a great week mommy! I love you!Love, Tu hijo mas fuerte

Hey Kimbo, How are you doing?? What have you been up to all week? That is crazy about the Miranda Sanchez!! She is in the Zone leaders area I just found out because they are sitting right next to me but I don’t know exactly who she is. I have an idea of who she is I think but I can’t picture her face so I will have to find her on Sunday and ask her about that! That is super cool! That is good to hear that Rustin got back out and is serving still, where is he at on his mission?? Yeah we have been getting rained on sooo much down here!!! It has been raining non stop almost all week and it has actually been pretty cold! That is good to hear that Rod is still driving the Ranger! This last week was good, we have found a lot of really cool people to teach. We found a girl named J and she is the first person we have taught so far in English! She is a super cool lady, she is 23 and has a little 3 year old boy named Evan that is a little stud but she really wants to be baptized and the very first lesson we had with her she asked if we could give her a Book of Mormon right then and wanted to take a picture with us holding the Book of Mormon after our first lesson and everything so it was very cool!! She came to church yesterday and enjoyed it and is looking good to get baptized really soon! Things have been going super good though, we found a couple really cool families this week and we are excited to start teaching them. It has been raining all day every day down here and we have an area where it is just all dirt roads and they were all under water so it was kinda crazy walking around there trying to get around to some members and thank goodness I get to drive a truck or else we would have gotten stuck very quickly!! I don’t know if I am getting moved tomorrow yet or not and we don’t know when we will find out so aver que pasa!! I hope you have a great week though, I will try to get a letter out to you soon mommy, I am sorry I have been so bad at writing!!:( I love you!! Be Safe!!

Hey Kimbo How are you doing?? How was your
week!? Sounds like you guys probably had a fun time on New Year’s!! What all
did you guys do? That sounds like quite the group, I can only imagine what Kevin
was up to!! ha-ha And I can picture Ty perfectly running around saying Christmas
vacation is over!! Tell daddy I can see his belly even though he is sucking in
in the picture in the cowboy stuff, he told me that thing would be gone by the
time I got home!! He better get on that!! Yeah, I talk to Harley, Gunnar, Logan,
Gus, Zac Lundell and Halley all a little bit every few weeks through email. That
is super sad to hear about my baby Sadie girl!! I hope she at least makes it
till I get home, what do they think? I love my little Sadie girl! I hope she is
okay! But also I remember a promise from mommy about a lab puppy when I get
home so I guess that will be a replacement whether she is here or not when I
get home! Poor Sader-tot!!!! This last week was good, on New Year’s Eve we got
to watch FROZEN!!!! It is the first time I have seen it, and it is the only
time we get to watch any movie or TV during the mission is on New Year’s Eve to
get us off of the streets and let me just tell you I love Frozen!!! Probably
because I have been so movie deprived but it was great. Yesterday we had a
family of 8 come to church that are investigators too! It was super cool to see
them at church and there were little Spanish ladies running everywhere taking
the kids to their classes and watching the ward engulf the family was super
cool to see. Then last night I tried menudo for the first time, menudo is a Mexican
dish that they usually make during holidays or special occasions and when we
went to a member’s house last night that is what she made for us!! It is cow
intestine in a soup and it was disgusting I have to be honest. I just shoved it
down as fast as I could but my comp struggled so badly with it!! And had the
hardest time putting it down!! ha-ha it was a very interesting meal appointment
I have to say! ha-ha But things are going good here, this last week was a
pretty boring week so I don’t have too much to say but I hope you have a great
week!! I love you!!
Love,
Elder Johnson
